A broken heart takes a long time to heal, so in order to cut the time short, it’s best to set off on an adventure of a lifetime. While some prefer calm and peaceful destinations, others may enjoy exotic cruises or extreme sports. Our beautiful planet has a lot of fantastic destinations. All you need to do is choose the perfect getaway that will help you recover from your ex love as soon as possible.

Everyone who prefers soaking up the sun on a beautiful white sand beach will find Bali the greatest destination to mend their broken heart. This Indonesian paradise will provide you with utmost enjoyment, relaxation, and fun. From diving along the coral ridges and swimming with dolphins, to walking around the butterfly park, Bali will, without a doubt, take your mind off the nasty breakup. Dolphin therapy is an ideal way to relieve depression, reduce stress, and it’s also a lot of fun. If that’s not enough, Bali will provide the opportunity to go horseback riding and visit wildlife animal parks as well.

While some prefer to get over the ex-lover alone, others will accomplish it only if they’re surrounded by people. Taking a cruise combines meeting various new individuals and having a great time on the ship. The magnificent France canal barges are very popular and one of the best ways to have an unforgettable travel experience. Explore this beautiful country from the North Sea to the Mediterranean and feel the culinary and scenic heart of France. What is more, some of these cruises will enrich your knowledge of language, history, and art by providing you with a short course in French language, lectures on Joan of Arc, and French Impressionists.

If you’re looking for a place to forget then come visit Thailand. You can do so much in this country. We have the finest beaches where you can relax and meet new wonderful people.

  2. For me, when I think about having broken hearts, then it is really a sad emotional experience. That means if it was me, I would find myself on a beach. It does not matter where so as long as it is a quiet beach where there are not a lot of people. Somehow, the sound of birds early in the morning, and the constant sound of waves can be soothing. It does help one contemplate moving forward. At the end of the day, imagine how beautiful it is to see the sunset.

I picked the beach, any beach, because it is my personal preference, and living in the Philippines, we do have a lot of that. Pity not all countries in the world have access to beautiful beaches… but hey, that is why there is traveling, huh?

A beach is always such a peaceful place to me. I agree that it’s a great place to go for healing, but it’s also perfect for just about any emotional experience–simply feel the breeze, smell the air and relax.

  3. Thailan, Italy and France ♥ Those places are so beautiful, I would like to go there at least once ♥

    • EG III says:

They’re all amazing places. So much so, if I had to pick a favorite it would be nearly impossible because they all have their own uniquely beautiful characteristics.

Like your own version of Eat, Pray, Love. It is good to be associated with a different environment to forget those pains and discover new feelings along the road. Life is full of surprises.

  8. Gabi says:

Not broken-hearted, but such a beautiful post to read anyway 🙂
